BRÄNNLANDS ISCIDER

From frozen apple juice, using the naturally cold outside temperatures, we extract a starting cider must with a sugar content of between 35 and 40 brix. Our apples originate in both Northern and Southern Sweden. We combine winter apples hand picked in our home county of Västerbotten on the Baltic seaboard with premium apples from a carefully selected grower in the heart of south Swedish apple country.

VÄSTERBOTTEN CHEESE FROM NORRMEJERIER

Västerbotten cheese is a cheese from the Västerbotten region of Sweden. It is a hard cow's milk cheese with tiny eyes or holes and a firm and granular texture. Strong in flavour, its taste is described as somewhat like Parmesan cheese, salty, but with more bitter notes. Västerbotten cheese was invented there in the 1870s, supposedly by a dairy maid, Eleonora Lindström. According to legend, she was left alone to stir the curd of a traditional cheese but was interrupted, either by other chores or an assignation with her lover. This resulted in alternating periods of heating and stirring of the curdling milk.

HJORTONGRANAT

The Cloudberry Grenade symbol was created four years ago by graphic designer/illustrator/artist Marc UÅ. Combining the sought-after Cloudberry and a hand grenade, he created the Cloudberry Grenade. It quickly got recognition by people identifying with the message of unapologizing pride and love. In 2016, Marc managed to finally produce the Cloudberry Grenade soda, after two years of meeting with breweries and finalizing blends and ingredients. The first soda ever to include cloudberries, it makes of a unique taste experience. Marc sold 3000 bottles by himself in 2 weeks across Sweden. Now the soda has been picked up by a number of bigger store chains and restaurants across Sweden. Hopefully it will reach the rest of the world during this year, exposing people to the wonderful, hard-to-find cloudberry.
