Lammhults will present Penne, the world’s first chair with legs made of laminated wooden tubes. Already launched with a seat and back in polypropylene and as a complete wooden version, the chair will now also be displayed with legs in aluminium. Penne can now meet a wide range of environments and areas of use, including outdoors.
Penne, designed by Julia Läufer/Marcus Keichel, combines the spirit of Scandinavian chair design with the requirements of the modern contract furniture market.
Penne is a well thought out, lightweight chair but still strong enough for heavy-duty use. It is easily assembled with screws or bolts and so it is easy to take the chair apart and recycle or replace the components. Lammhults will also show the Attach table system, designed by Troels Grum-Schwensen. This table was launched at Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2016 and within one year, it has already received four design awards: IDA Design Award, European Aluminium Award, Design S and IF DESIGN AWARD 2017.
